1. use fewer slides
2. use fewer words in one line and fewer lines in one slide
3. use more graphs and graphics
4. use questions to connect with the audience
5. whenever jargon is used, offer explanation with humor
6. use voice that is pleasant and loud enough
7. use current statistics, findings, confidence and enthusiasm
